Off the needles!

Finally – after starting in late June, spinning up a storm and knitting for what feels like *forever*, Mystery Stole 3, aka ‘Swan Lake’, is off the needles:

J says it looks like I knitted a slug.  I say, it needs blocking.  And then modelling.

Well done on finishing Ota! I’m not sure it looks like a slug – but then again I am also not sure about the final, off kilter end!
Will I see it in its entirety?

  • Well done! It is a peculiar shape isn’t it, but the blocking should be ok. There’s blocking advice on the yahoo group. I used a short wire for the width before the wing. One thing I would re-do when I block, is to stretch out that wing, I think I was trying to stretch lengthwise and my wing isn’t as wide as I’d like.

  • J said exactly what A would have said. Hurrah for honesty (sometimes 🙂
I’ve caught so many glimpses of this in blogland that I want to see it blocked, too! And thank you so much for that lovely comment on my blog.
