I didn't time how long it took me to cut my steeks, but it was at least half an hour.

One strand at a time is definitely the way to go.

But, success!  Nothing has fallen apart, and Moor has been transformed from this rather sorry looking bag-like thing:

Into a recognisably vest-like object:

  • Congrats! Cutting a steek is definitely less frightening than thinking about cutting a steek.

  • Looks super! Seeing someone cutting steeks doesn’t freak me out anymore, now that I’ve done it once myself. Funny how something like cutting one’s knitting should seem so intense. I love the colors too.
